PCI History

In 1998 friends came together out of a desire for new career challenges and founded Personal Care Inc. They decided that providing high quality health carefor people in their homes was a way that they could add meaning to their personal and professional lives. We serve patients in the Greensboro, Winston Salem and High Point regions of NC.

Wayne Abraham had worked for many years with various non-profit organizations as a director, a volunteer, and a board member. He has a lifelong commitment to giving back to the community and helping others. Mark Barton was ready for additional career challenges, and wanted to pursue an interest in health care that had emerged early in his life.

Wayne and Mark understand the needs and the stresses that family caregivers experience, because both of them have helped their aging parents cope with the onset of illness and physical limitations. Their experience has informed them on how best to help patients and family members meet these needs with high quality andcompassionate care.

Personal Care Inc. was designed from the beginning as a company that would set itself apart through the range ofservices that it provides and the holistic support that it delivers to clients and their families. For PCI providingHome Care services is why we are here, rather than it being just a sideline for a much larger corporate entity.
