LongTermCare - For an adult or child with ongoing health issues who requires assistance to maintain independence and stay at home with dignity. Types of care provided can range from basic housekeeping, meal preparation and assistance with personal care to more skilled services such as blood pressure and blood sugar monitoring. All services are delivered under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse. (Some insurance programs may cover these services.)
TempCare - For individuals who have a short-term medical problem, such as recovery from serious personal injury or surgery. All services are delivered under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse. (Some insurance programs may cover these services.)
ElderCare - A social worker will meet with each family or individual to anticipate future healthcare needs. A plan will be developed and implemented so that in the event of an emergency, a trained social worker or nurse case manager can assist with arranging all needed services and ensure that resources are in place when needed. The service may extend to keeping family members living elsewhere apprised of an emergency or monitoring a family member’s condition and providing regular updates to concerned family living elsewhere.
RehabCare - For individuals who have suffered a stroke, broken hip, heart attack or other significant medical problems, services include assistance with physical therapy programs as designed by a physical or occupation therapist, hands-on help with transfers and walking, household assistance, meal preparation, laundry assistance and shopping. All services are delivered under the clinical supervision of a registered nurse.
ErrandCare - For those who need assistance with smaller tasks, such as grocery shopping, going to the doctor or going to the next bridge club meeting.
HouseCare - For individuals who wish to remain at home but need assistance with maintaining the house, such as regular housecleaning and lawn care or arranging for home repair. HouseCare includes a consultation service to assist families in making their homes more handicap accessible.
CaregiverCare - PCI offers caregiver learning sessions that help caregivers build the skills needed to care for their loved one and themselves. Following the sessions, alumni can participate in support groups with other family caregivers. Respite care for the caregiver is available for long weekends, vacations, weekly errands or for just a dinner and a movie. Gift certificates are available.
Holiday Helper - Throughout the year as we each celebrate the various holidays, some may want assistance in preparing for guests and company. This service includes holiday decorating, baking, gift wrapping and shopping.
ParentCare - Expectant moms or new parents need support and rest. ParentCare service can be as little as five hours of housekeeping or daily assistance for as long as needed. Gift certificates are available.
NewbornCare - This service provides support for parents with premature infants and newborns as they transition from the hospital to the home. This service is available as short-term or long-term care, seven days a week and 24 hours a day. Parents and grandparents can take advantage of this service to provide additional care for infants who require special attention. Gift certificates available.
ChildNeedsCare - This service is designed to help families with special-needs children. Service is available for ongoing care seven days a week and 24 hours a day.
